Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Financials and Real Estate sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.58%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED), which rose 5.14% or 20.50 points to trade at 419.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK) added 2.83% or 15.50 points to end at 562.50 and Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) was up 2.81% or 5.70 points to 208.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb), which fell 1.52% or 14.40 points to trade at 933.20 at the close. DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV) declined 0.93% or 9.50 points to end at 1,016.00 and Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb) was down 0.69% or 20.00 points to 2,864.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 85 to 54 and 17 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 1.02% or 0.81 to $78.42 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.98% or 0.82 to hit $82.61 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.02% or 0.50 to trade at $2,363.60 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.39% to 6.88, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.41% at 104.60.
