Intuitive Machines jumped in afterhours trading Thursday after the space exploration company said it won a $116.9 million contract from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration to deliver six science and technology payloads. 

Intuitive Machines Inc (NASDAQ:LUNR) jumped 14% in afterhours trading following the news.

The six science and technology payloads including also includes one European Space Agency-led drill suite to the Moon’s South Pole.
