Morocco stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Real EstateBanking and Transport sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Casablanca , the Moroccan All Shares added 0.49% to hit a new all time high.

The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Travaux Generaux De Construction De Casablanca S.A (CSE:TGC), which rose 9.98% or 59.90 points to trade at 659.90 at the close. Meanwhile, Fenie Brossette (CSE:FBR) added 9.96% or 13.55 points to end at 149.55 and Societe d’Exploitation des Ports SA (CSE:MSA) was up 7.84% or 50.90 points to 700.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Salafin (CSE:SLF), which fell 9.98% or 61.90 points to trade at 558.10 at the close. IB Maroc Com SA (CSE:IBC) declined 7.54% or 3.15 points to end at 38.65 and Marocaine pour le Commerce et l’Industrie Banque SA (CSE:BCI) was down 3.81% or 25.00 points to 632.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 35 to 26 and 3 ended unchanged.

Shares in Travaux Generaux De Construction De Casablanca S.A (CSE:TGC) rose to all time highs; rising 9.98% or 59.90 to 659.90. Shares in Fenie Brossette (CSE:FBR) rose to 52-week highs; up 9.96% or 13.55 to 149.55. Shares in Societe d’Exploitation des Ports SA (CSE:MSA) rose to all time highs; up 7.84% or 50.90 to 700.00.

Crude oil for April delivery was up 0.71% or 0.51 to $72.61 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.75% or 0.57 to hit $76.61 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.59% or 17.40 to trade at $2,953.50 a troy ounce.

EUR/MAD was unchanged 0.03% to 10.41, while USD/MAD fell 0.13% to 9.97.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.39% at 106.65.
