Turkey stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Sports, Wood, Paper & Printing and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Istanbul, the BIST 100 lost 1.29% to hit a new 3-months low.
The best performers of the session on the BIST 100 were Akfen Yenilenebilir Enerji AS (IS:AKFYE), which rose 2.19% or 0.37 points to trade at 17.28 at the close. Meanwhile, Akbank TAS (IS:AKBNK) added 2.08% or 1.35 points to end at 66.15 and Is Yatirim Menkul Degerler AS (IS:ISMEN) was up 1.55% or 0.60 points to 39.32 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Smart Gunes Enerjisi Teknolojileri Arastirma Gelistirme Uretim Sanayi ve Ticaret (IS:SMRTG), which fell 10.00% or 4.24 points to trade at 38.16 at the close. Celebi Hava Servisi AS (IS:CLEBI) declined 7.60% or 157.00 points to end at 1,908.00 and Fenerbahce Futbol AS (IS:FENER) was down 5.90% or 2.96 points to 47.24.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 475 to 104 and 13 ended unchanged.
Gold Futures for April delivery was down 1.50% or 44.41 to $2,918.79 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in April fell 2.28% or 1.61 to hit $69.09 a barrel, while the May Brent oil contract fell 2.21% or 1.64 to trade at $72.67 a barrel.
USD/TRY was up 0.08% to 36.45, while EUR/TRY rose 0.65% to 38.36.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.34% at 106.15.
