Norway stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Media, Transport and Diversified Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.61%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGL), which rose 2.50% or 2.70 points to trade at 110.75 at the close. Meanwhile, Nel ASA (OL:NEL) added 2.21% or 0.05 points to end at 2.41 and Equinor ASA (OL:EQNR) was up 1.51% or 3.85 points to 258.90 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Hafnia Ltd (OL:HAFNI), which fell 11.44% or 6.26 points to trade at 48.44 at the close. Frontline Ltd (OL:FRO) declined 3.38% or 6.05 points to end at 173.05 and Mowi ASA (OL:MOWI) was down 2.92% or 6.30 points to 209.40.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 202 to 75 and 23 ended unchanged.
Shares in Hafnia Ltd (OL:HAFNI) fell to 52-week lows; down 11.44% or 6.26 to 48.44.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 2.13% or 1.46 to $70.08 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 1.79% or 1.29 to hit $73.36 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 1.58% or 46.30 to trade at $2,884.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.29% to 11.70, while USD/NOK rose 0.95% to 11.24.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.71% at 107.08.
