Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Hotels & Tourism, Building & Construction and Industrial Investment sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 1.82%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Raoom Trading Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4144), which rose 3.56% or 5.80 points to trade at 168.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Al-Rajhi Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:8230) added 2.86% or 3.60 points to end at 129.60 and Saudi Paper Manufacturing Co. (TADAWUL:2300) was up 2.74% or 1.60 points to 60.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were BANK ALBILAD (TADAWUL:1140), which fell 6.39% or 2.20 points to trade at 32.25 at the close. Sadr Logistics Co (TADAWUL:1832) declined 6.08% or 0.18 points to end at 2.78 and Kingdom Holding Company (TADAWUL:4280) was down 5.87% or 0.49 points to 7.86.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 282 to 47 and 12 ended unchanged.
Shares in Sadr Logistics Co (TADAWUL:1832) fell to 3-years lows; down 6.08% or 0.18 to 2.78.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 5.87% or 3.50 to $56.08 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 5.64% or 3.54 to hit $59.28 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 2.35% or 70.24 to trade at $3,060.44 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 1.10% to 4.16, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.04% to 3.76.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.87% at 101.81.
