Indonesia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Financials, Infrastructure and Agriculture sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index added 2.18% to hit a new 3-months high.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Bumi Benowo Sukses Sejahtera Pt (JK:BBSS), which rose 35.00% or 70.00 points to trade at 270.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Hotel Fitra International Tbk PT (JK:FITT) added 34.62% or 54.00 points to end at 210.00 and Platinum Wahab Nusantara Tbk PT (JK:TGUK) was up 34.62% or 27.00 points to 105.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were First Media Tbk (JK:KBLV), which fell 14.71% or 15.00 points to trade at 87.00 at the close. Cipta Sarana Medika Tbk PT (JK:DKHH) declined 14.47% or 22.00 points to end at 130.00 and Asuransi Multi Artha Guna Tbk PT (JK:AMAG) was down 11.74% or 50.00 points to 376.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 423 to 232 and 188 ended unchanged.
Shares in Bumi Benowo Sukses Sejahtera Pt (JK:BBSS) rose to all time highs; up 35.00% or 70.00 to 270.00. Shares in Cipta Sarana Medika Tbk PT (JK:DKHH) fell to all time lows; losing 14.47% or 22.00 to 130.00. Shares in Platinum Wahab Nusantara Tbk PT (JK:TGUK) rose to 52-week highs; up 34.62% or 27.00 to 105.00.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.63% or 0.40 to $63.27 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.62% or 0.41 to hit $66.22 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.34% or 11.11 to trade at $3,236.69 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.25% to 16,551.00, while AUD/IDR rose 0.07% to 10,754.73.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.48% at 100.35.
