Indonesia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Infrastructure, Financials and Agriculture sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index rose 0.61% to hit a new 3-months high.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were PT Wahana Interfood Nusantara Tbk (JK:COCO), which rose 34.02% or 33.00 points to trade at 130.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Eratex Djaja Tbk (JK:ERTX) added 29.47% or 28.00 points to end at 123.00 and TBS Energi Utama Tbk PT (JK:TOBA) was up 16.00% or 64.00 points to 464.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Mitra Energi Persada Tbk PT (JK:KOPI), which fell 14.89% or 140.00 points to trade at 800.00 at the close. Adiwarna Anugerah Abadi PT Tbk (JK:NAIK) declined 14.50% or 38.00 points to end at 224.00 and Duta Intidaya Tbk PT (JK:DAYA) was down 14.29% or 200.00 points to 1,200.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 419 to 257 and 172 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.73% or 0.45 to $61.52 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.72% or 0.47 to hit $64.94 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 1.62% or 51.79 to trade at $3,239.09 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.15% to 16,436.80, while AUD/IDR rose 0.35% to 10,563.09.
