Indonesia stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Financials, Agriculture and Basic Industry sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index added 0.45% to hit a new 3-months high.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Saranacentral Bajatama Tbk (JK:BAJA), which rose 34.88% or 30.00 points to trade at 116.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Platinum Wahab Nusantara Tbk PT (JK:TGUK) added 34.31% or 35.00 points to end at 137.00 and Fast Food Indonesia Tbk (JK:FAST) was up 20.67% or 62.00 points to 362.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Bumi Benowo Sukses Sejahtera Pt (JK:BBSS), which fell 14.62% or 50.00 points to trade at 292.00 at the close. MNC Studios International Tbk PT (JK:MSIN) declined 12.80% or 80.00 points to end at 545.00 and Mitra Investindo Tbk (JK:MITI) was down 12.63% or 25.00 points to 173.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 354 to 280 and 214 ended unchanged.
Shares in Saranacentral Bajatama Tbk (JK:BAJA) rose to 52-week highs; rising 34.88% or 30.00 to 116.00. Shares in Platinum Wahab Nusantara Tbk PT (JK:TGUK) rose to 52-week highs; up 34.31% or 35.00 to 137.00.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.57% or 0.35 to $60.85 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.57% or 0.37 to hit $64.07 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.96% or 31.61 to trade at $3,326.61 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.44% to 16,230.30, while AUD/IDR fell 0.14% to 10,472.80.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.51% at 99.34.
