Swedish defence equipment maker Saab said on Tuesday it has received an order for its Giraffe 1X radars worth around $46 million from the U.S. Army.

“The order underscores the growing demand for Saab’s advanced radar technology to strengthen air defence and Counter-Unmanned Aerial Systems (C-UAS) capabilities worldwide,” the company said in a statement.

Saab on Friday raised its full-year sales guidance on the back of soaring military spending.
