Indonesia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Infrastructure, Agriculture and Basic Industry sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index rose 0.15%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Black Diamond Resources Tbk PT (JK:COAL), which rose 34.94% or 29.00 points to trade at 112.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Optima Prima Metal Sinergi (JK:OPMS) added 34.45% or 41.00 points to end at 160.00 and Minna Padi Investama Tbk (JK:PADI) was up 34.43% or 42.00 points to 164.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Duta Intidaya Tbk PT (JK:DAYA), which fell 14.97% or 235.00 points to trade at 1,335.00 at the close. Ever Shine Textile Industry (JK:ESTI) declined 14.81% or 28.00 points to end at 161.00 and Pacific Strategic Financial (JK:APIC) was down 13.77% or 210.00 points to 1,315.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 392 to 320 and 140 ended unchanged.
Shares in Black Diamond Resources Tbk PT (JK:COAL) rose to 52-week highs; up 34.94% or 29.00 to 112.00. Shares in Optima Prima Metal Sinergi (JK:OPMS) rose to 3-years highs; up 34.45% or 41.00 to 160.00. Shares in Minna Padi Investama Tbk (JK:PADI) rose to 5-year highs; up 34.43% or 42.00 to 164.00.
Crude oil for January delivery was up 2.15% or 1.26 to $59.81 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 2.02% or 1.26 to hit $63.64 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.55% or 23.50 to trade at $4,278.40 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.33% to 16,650.80, while AUD/IDR rose 0.08% to 10,907.36.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.11% at 99.30.
