Indonesia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Infrastructure, Financials and Agriculture sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index added 0.96%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Bank Capital Indonesia Tbk (JK:BACA), which rose 32.62% or 61.00 points to trade at 248.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Asuransi Harta Aman Pratama Tbk PT (JK:AHAP) added 25.81% or 24.00 points to end at 117.00 and Perintis Triniti Properti PT (JK:TRIN) was up 25.00% or 210.00 points to 1,050.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Mustika Ratu Tbk (JK:MRAT), which fell 14.81% or 100.00 points to trade at 575.00 at the close. Pudjiadi Prestige Tbk (JK:PUDP) declined 14.74% or 115.00 points to end at 665.00 and Ulima Nitra PT (JK:UNIQ) was down 14.69% or 72.00 points to 418.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 470 to 224 and 156 ended unchanged.
Shares in Bank Capital Indonesia Tbk (JK:BACA) rose to 3-years highs; gaining 32.62% or 61.00 to 248.00. Shares in Asuransi Harta Aman Pratama Tbk PT (JK:AHAP) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 25.81% or 24.00 to 117.00.
Crude oil for February delivery was up 1.13% or 0.64 to $57.38 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 1.01% or 0.61 to hit $60.85 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 1.19% or 54.25 to trade at $4,498.45 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.31% to 16,785.20, while AUD/IDR rose 0.08% to 11,256.86.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.02% at 97.72.
