Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Media & PublishingHotels & Tourism and Building & Construction sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.04%.

The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Cable Company (TADAWUL:2110), which rose 9.72% or 14.30 points to trade at 161.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Al Masane Al Kobra Mining Company CJSC (TADAWUL:1322) added 9.25% or 9.20 points to end at 108.70 and Al-Jouf Agriculture Development Co (TADAWUL:6070) was up 6.46% or 2.92 points to 48.10 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Tabuk Agriculture Development Co (TADAWUL:6040), which fell 3.67% or 0.29 points to trade at 7.61 at the close. Saudi Tadawul Group Holding Co (TADAWUL:1111) declined 3.56% or 5.20 points to end at 141.00 and Herfy Food Services Co (TADAWUL:6002) was down 3.45% or 0.59 points to 16.52.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 226 to 97 and 13 ended unchanged.

Shares in Saudi Cable Company (TADAWUL:2110) rose to 3-years highs; gaining 9.72% or 14.30 to 161.40. Shares in Al Masane Al Kobra Mining Company CJSC (TADAWUL:1322) rose to all time highs; up 9.25% or 9.20 to 108.70.

Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.79% or 0.47 to $59.81 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.70% or 0.45 to hit $64.39 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 2.97% or 136.67 to trade at $4,732.07 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was up 0.78% to 4.40, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.96% at 98.25.
