Dassault Systèmes and NVIDIA (NVDA) announced a strategic partnership to develop a shared industrial AI architecture combining Virtual Twin technologies with AI infrastructure.

The collaboration will establish science-validated industry World Models and virtual companions on Dassault Systèmes’ 3DEXPERIENCE platform. The companies plan to deploy AI infrastructure across three continents through Dassault Systèmes’ OUTSCALE cloud brand, which will utilize NVIDIA’s AI hardware.

NVIDIA will adopt Dassault Systèmes’ model-based systems engineering to design AI factories, starting with the NVIDIA Rubin platform. The partnership targets applications in biology, materials science, engineering and manufacturing.

“We are entering an era where artificial intelligence does not just predict or generate, but understands the real world,” said Pascal Daloz, CEO of Dassault Systèmes. “Together with NVIDIA, we are building industry World Models that unite Virtual Twins and accelerated computing.”

Jensen Huang, founder and CEO of NVIDIA, said the collaboration aims to “transform how millions of researchers, designers and engineers build the world’s largest industries.”

The partnership includes integrating NVIDIA’s BioNeMo platform with Dassault Systèmes’ BIOVIA for molecular discovery, combining SIMULIA AI-based physics with NVIDIA CUDA-X libraries for design engineering, and incorporating NVIDIA Omniverse physical AI libraries into DELMIA production systems.

Several companies expressed support for the initiative, including Bel Group, OMRON, Lucid Motors, and the National Institute for Aviation Research at Wichita State University.

The announcement was made at 3DEXPERIENCE World, Dassault Systèmes’ annual design and engineering event in Houston.
