Indonesia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Infrastructure, Financials and Agriculture sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index rose 1.55%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Teknologi Karya Digital Nusa PT Tbk (JK:TRON), which rose 28.81% or 34.00 points to trade at 152.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Alakasa Industrindo Tbk (JK:ALKA) added 25.00% or 145.00 points to end at 725.00 and Yanaprima Hastapersada Tbk (JK:YPAS) was up 24.86% or 230.00 points to 1,155.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Remala Abadi Tbk PT (JK:DATA), which fell 14.95% or 450.00 points to trade at 2,560.00 at the close. PP Presisi Tbk PT (JK:PPRE) declined 14.18% or 19.00 points to end at 115.00 and Weha Transportasi Indonesia TBK (JK:WEHA) was down 14.84% or 23.00 points to 132.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 478 to 263 and 118 ended unchanged.
Shares in Yanaprima Hastapersada Tbk (JK:YPAS) rose to 5-year highs; up 24.86% or 230.00 to 1,155.00.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 2.27% or 2.30 to $99.08 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 1.76% or 1.83 to hit $102.14 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 1.69% or 79.15 to trade at $4,757.75 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.51% to 16,973.30, while AUD/IDR rose 0.62% to 11,796.01.
